League History
About
League is actually old, but at 2006 it was, "updated" I may say. It's a feature of the clan, which works like a mini tournament, or something like a WGT/PGT season. It is only within [MB], no members on trial allowed, so you must achieve Private to join. If you have passed your trial a bit later then the season started, no problem! Registration is always open, but you already lost some time… Each season length depends on player amount; fortunately we have more and more of them each season. In the end the player with most points wins. So no matter, if you have 31 losses and other guy has 9 wins and no loses, you have more pts, you win. People can play each other only twice per season. Win is 3 pts, loss is 1 pt. League winner and the second place holders are awarded with silver and gold trophies. Gaps between seasons can be from 1 to 3 months, again it's up to the most. Most people voted for 2 months, but the gap between s1 and s2 was only 15 days, because there were many participants, so there was no point in just waiting and keeping everyone bored. Seasons cannot get shorter. (Well, of course, if like 4 people register…) They can only get longer. If at least 1 more fighter joins then in the last season, +15 days. + more per amount, and the situation, this is up to the League handler.
Fighting history
In season 1 everything was just beginning, people were getting used to new order, Argutaris[MB] and Mass[MB] were the lucky ones from about the dozen participants at that time, although it was 1-1 between them...
Season 2 was a more steady stuff.. Argutaris[MB] has risen up here again, with the luck in finding his opponents online. Mascot[MB] was behind his tail all the time, and Ragnarok[MB] had 100% wins, but he did not manage to catch up. Btw, happy 2007!
Season 3 was as steady as a rock. People played the league as if it was “renewed” 200 years ago. No more questions, no more problems, just pure fight for the gold. Argutaris[MB] was victorious again, with Near[MB] on his tail. Maybe he has a lucky charm or something?...
So... Season 4 was finally closed. The epic war between two races: Protoss and Zerg, has ended.. For 3 seasons (for nearly 2 years) MasS[MB] and Argutaris[MB] were 1-1. As we all know, there are only 2 games per player, not 3. So it is considered a draw. This time Mass was victorious, by beating Argutaris 2-0. Although the epic battle ended with the victory of Zerg, in the end, the war was won by the Protoss... Mass[MB] did not manage to catch up with Argutaris[MB] who won a bigger battle amount... I am also glad to add that 4th Season had the most games of all. Let us see what shall happen next, and whose names shall swim out in our short but honorable League history.
Season 5 has started with league totally revamped again. Rating system has been added, certain maps will be chosen to play in league together with elite and 1v1 tournaments. But all of this stuff will be used in 6th season... Brand new looks, bug free submitting system and no more confusing times, when players played each other more than twice! It is getting better and better. Let’s see how will it end, who will win?
Well, we don’t need to wait anymore. Season 5 was a new school era. Argutaris[MB] didn’t even joined it, he had no time to take part in this legendary [MB] fighting marathon, Mass[MB] played 18 games, and stopped playing while having 2 loses, probably he had something more important to do, or league just became too boring for him without Argutaris[MB]. Anyway, the epic battle between Protoss and the Zerg didn’t even took part at this period, and new names of MorroW[MB], the winner of the 5th season (with 2 loses), and Scorpion[MB], the second place winner, had appeared from the fog this time. Is this the end, or a new beginning?
Between Season 5 and Season 6 a “[MB] 1v1 marathon” took place. Started in 2009-12-21 and ended on 2010-01-30. In 40 days about 60 1v1’s were played. NeaR[MB] emerged victorious, Tmoica[MB] took the second place and Huk[MB] was the honorable third.
Seasons 6 finally came to an end in 2010 summer. With the emerging of SC2, it was the most pathetic league season [MB] had ever had. It had quite a poor activity, people played each other rarely, and every point was as a huge chunk of gold. Argutaris emerged victorious, which was a surprise for him, since he didn’t play league as serious as earlier seasons, although his win streak brought him to the top. Proom[MB] was left second, with Tmoica[MB] on his tail, grasping the bronze.

“Elite” – was a feature in 2007/2008. It was a title of a best “critical” 1v1 player in the clan. That’s because all the games were bo1, and you always had to watch your back for the cheese, or cheese yourself in order to hold the Stone for a little longer. The Elite was something yet a lot different from the league games or 1v1 tournaments. A player, who had the title, was in need to constantly defend it. Anyone could challenge him. Of course, the player had the right not to constantly play everyone. Although, he needed to accept one challenge in 72 hours. IF no game was to be played in 72 hours, the first challenger automatically got the Stone and the title, and the previous holder would get a loss. The longest defender of this title was Argutaris[MB], he fought nearly 200 bloody battles in total. The longest time the Stone was held, was also by Argutaris[MB] - 2 months. Although the biggest win streak stands written in stone with another name - Enivid[MB]. He once took the title away from Argutaris[MB], and, while he held the Stone only for a few days, since the looser of the Stone could not re-challenge within the next 96 hours, he played nearly all the challenges and broke Argus record of win streaks, with an impressive 13-1, when at the end, the fearsome Protoss all-in master regained the title. But Argutaris[MB] never succeeded to break Enivid[MB] record. And probably the greatest PvP in between them, an epic war which ever took place in Battle.Net Europe, with dozens and dozens of equal games in between, remains unsettled, and it sinks into the dusts of eternity, because Enivid[MB] didn’t challenge for Elite Stone anymore, and later he left.
Elite Stone:

Longest defend – Argutaris[MB], 66 days.
Most battles – Argutaris[MB], 96 battles.
Biggest win streak – Enivid[MB], 13-1
Only users of the site with permission can play in the league.
